Antique Hawaiian Wood Bowl Mother of Pearl Inlay
Here is a beautiful antique hand carved wooden bowl that a naval officer brought back to the mainland from the Hawaiian Islands at the close of WW II.  I believe the wood is palm, but I’m not positive.  And I believe the inlay sea shell work is mother of pearl, but again, I’m not positive. The bowl does not sit perfectly flat on the table and it’s not perfectly symmetrical.  This bowl measures approximately 15 inches long by 8 ½ inches wide by 4 inches tall.  It is in excellent condition with no cracks chips or repairs.  We have never treated the wood with anything.  Priced to sell. A gorgeous focal point to any room.
